Quality, expertise, guarantee

The Construction Industry Award (Építőipari Nívódíj) is the most prestigious award in the Hungarian construction sector. The buildings are evaluated in a complex way, in which, in addition to the general architectural and technical solutions, the technical standard of the implementation and the quality of the coherence between the developer, the designer and the contractor play a role.

The project aimed at the development of the Danube port, implemented between 2013 and 2017, is a good example of how a highly complex, multi-stakeholder development involving almost all segments of the construction industry, taking place in the same work area with another development in the same time, can be successfully carried out. The wharf was built with a crane track, roads, railway, utilities, green terminal. The waterway was widened with dredging. The administration building was built. The constructive cooperation of the participants of the project and the organizations involved in the planning and construction made it possible that, despite a number of unforeseen obstacles, the work was completed on time, fully complying with the technical requirements. The most significant result for the project and for the port infrastructure was the provision of intermodality, which made it possible to connect the road, rail and waterways, and to ensure the free transhipment of goods between modes of transport.

The stronghold of today's Hungarian youth football is the Puskás Ferenc Football Academy. The building of the Academy was designed by Imre Makovecz himself, however, the design of the stadium of the NB I team was left to his students. The arena with a capacity of 3,200, complying with UEFA III. category requirements, in addition to the rational trend of contemporary stadium architecture, faithfully to the Hungarian organic architectural traditions, shows an alternative that boldly reaches for special forms and structures.
